dunnhumby Live
Live studio production from London
Challenge
dunnhumby are a global company, they had an ambitious new strategy to launch to their 2000 strong team.
With Covid restricting travel, bringing everyone together wasn’t an option. Another consideration was the number of new starters who had joined the company since the pandemic started who had never met their colleagues in person or visited a dunnhumby site.

What we did
- Video Content Creation
- Set Design and studio build
- Interactive Livestreaming
Approach
With thousands of hours of successful livestreams delivered, Paradigm were the obvious choice to work on this project.
To root the broadcast in dunnhumby’s business we suggested broadcasting from their flagship London office. The event branding was developed to reflect key features of the building. We constructed three temporary studios in different areas within their office – this gave us the ability to run sessions both concurrently and independently.
To ensure that everyone in dunnhumby’s global team could take part in the digital event, we ran multiple sessions at different times to make sure everyone in the business had a session they could attend.
We made the broadcast as interactive as possible, with regular quizzes, polls and opportunities to get involved with features of the digital event platform integrated into the broadcast.
We also ran an ‘audience wall’ with representatives from all territories and levels of seniority within the business encouraged to get involved, comment and input live into the broadcast.
With multiple break out sessions and offline content, we ensured that everyone within dunnhumby had plenty of opportunities to engage with the content.
Outcome
Looking at the viewing figures, the broadcast achieved 95% audience attendance across the whole of dunnhumby, with each and every attendee interacting with the broadcast an average of 9 times – all great indicators of the impact we had.
But it was the sense of excitement, fun and collaboration which ran through the whole event which really made this a brilliant project to be part of.
